Kenyan Marxist Leader Booker Ngesa Omole Abducted by State Forces

We have republished this statement in solidarity with Comrade Booker Ngesa Omole and all political prisoners worldwide.

Statement from the Central Committee of the Communist Party Marxist Kenya Republished by HOUDINI Magazine:

The Central Committee of the Communist Party Marxist Kenya addresses the people of Kenya and all progressive forces with urgency, anger, and unwavering clarity.

Last evening, Comrade Booker Ngesa Omole, our Secretary General and a steadfast son of the working class, was violently abducted in Isiolo by officers of the Kenya Police Service.

Let there be no distortion of facts.

This was not an arrest. This was not lawful detention. This was a kidnapping. He was beaten severely. Tortured. Brutalised to near death. His tooth was broken. His finger was cut with a pen knife. He was treated not as a citizen with rights but as an enemy to be crushed.

After this savage assault, he was dumped at Mlolongo Police Station, a station widely feared by the masses and long associated with extra judicial killings and systematic terror against the poor and politically conscious. His phone signal has been traced there.

This is state violence in its naked form.

This is repression against the organised working class.

This is an attempt to intimidate the revolutionary movement.

They imagine that by kidnapping one leader they will frighten millions. They imagine that by torture they can silence conviction. They imagine that fear can defeat history.

They are wrong.

When oppression grows harsher, it is because the rulers are afraid. When the police abduct communists, it is because the people are awakening. When the night is darkest, dawn is near.

An injury to one is an injury to all. Touch one revolutionary and you touch the entire people.

We demand, without negotiation and without delay:

Immediate medical care and legal access. Immediate end to all torture and unlawful detention. Immediate and unconditional release of Comrade Omole. Full public accountability for every officer responsible.

We call upon workers, peasants, youth, women, trade unions, student movements, human rights organisations, and all anti imperialist and democratic forces to rise in solidarity. Organise. Speak out. Mobilise. Defend our comrades. Defend democratic rights. Defend the revolution.

No prison can contain the will of the people. No baton can beat down the truth. No regime can stop the march of history.

The struggle continues. The people shall win.

Signed, Central Committee Communist Party Marxist Kenya Solidarity forever. Forward to people’s power.
